The Strongarch Course on
Dental Infections for Clinicians:
Pathobiological Basis for Oral Health
This RACGP and ACRRM approved course is for medical practitioners , and comprises 4.5 hours (3 Hr didactic Educational Activity, 1.5 Hr Reviewing Performance Activity that relates didactic content to clinical practice).
The course gives quick but solid understanding of the scientific basis for all the common dental infections, as well as for their prevention and management.
Despite dental clinicians being specialised for dental infections, other health professionals often see patients with dental problems. In addition, a range of medical conditions and treatments impact oral health.
The course consists of: - A streamed lecture of 1.25 Hr - Detailed written notes for download, study and later reference - Quizzes for self-assessment and to reinforce learning - 1.5 Hr of Reviewing Practice activity, that relates didactic content to clinical practrice - A Certificate of Completion, awarded at or above a 60% self-assessment grade.
