This course is for scientists and engineers who find they have need to better understand dental infections. PLEASE NOTE: Medical practitioners should do the separate course: 'Dental Infections for Clinicians: Pathobiological Basis for Oral Health' The course gives a quick but solid understanding of the scientific basis for common dental infections, as well as for their prevention and management. This three hour course consists of: - A streamed lecture of just over an hour - Detailed written notes for download, study and later reference - Quizzes for self-assessment and to reinforce learning - A Certificate of Completion, awarded at or above a 60% self-assessment grade. Detailed explanations for all questions in the quizzes are provided. Once enrolled, there is unlimited access.
