Dental Infections for Clinicians: Pathobiological Basis for Oral Health

This 4.5 Hr RACGP approved course is for medical practitioners and other health professionals (3 hr didactic Educational Activity, 1.5 hr Reviewing Performance Activity relating didactic content to the clinic). The course gives quick but solid understanding of the scientific basis, prevention and management for all the common dental infections. Despite dental clinicians being specialised for dental infections, other health professionals often see patients with dental problems. Also, a range of medical conditions and treatments impact oral health. The Course Has: - A streamed lecture of 1.25 Hr - Written notes for download, study and later reference - Self-Asssesment Quizzes to reinforce learning - 1.5 Hr of Reviewing Practice activity, that relates didactic content to clinical practice - A Certificate of Completion, awarded at or above a 60% self-assessment grade. Detailed explanations for all questions in the quizzes are provided. Once enrolled, there is unlimited access.
